Philp (upper body) was placed on long-term injured reserve Friday.
Scouting Report
It took him longer than most to reach the National Hockey League, and his journey included a stint in Canadian university hockey as well as a very brief retirement. His size is a major asset for him, although he is more of a point producer at lower levels. At the highest level, he is more of a role player.
Long Range Potential: Big depth forward.
